Self-Paced Classes [#permalink] New post 19 May 2009, 14:27
Hi,

I have a low UG GPA and a poor UG calc grade. So I will be retaking calc this year through UC Berkeley Extension. I recently learned that the transcript will note that the class is a "self-paced" class. Is this a problem or does it take away from the credibility of the class?

I just gravitated towards self-paced classes as I work in consulting and can be sent on a traveling project at anytime without notice. Should I be looking more for lecture based classes? Are self-paced classes worth it?

Thanks

If you have a low UG GPA, you want to show that you can excel in a traditional classroom. I think you would be better off with a traditional class if you want to make that point.

Best,
