You got it. Seriously, I can sympathize with you although I am not in school. I sometimes feel I cant get off the threadmill. Work, kids and visiting family is a tough mix to keep up, not to mention the neck surgery I have to have before school. Good luck with your surgery! Hope everything goes well. aaudetat wrote: * Managerial accounting final tomorrow * Presentation & Paper for tomorrow * Doctor's appointment in the afternoon * Surgery on Tuesday (to fix wrist from car accident back in October) * Mom in town

aaud - I really hope the surgery goes well. I remember the photo from your accident and it was awful to see those bruises. Don't worry, everything else will take care of itself...

Hey guys, how are you paying for surgery? Does MBA student health insurance cover it?
I am an international student, and have injured my knee a few months ago working out. Lots of pain in the knee. Been doing the whole "knee brace/anti-inflammatory meds/glucosamine supplements" but not helping much. I am suspecting I need a minor surgery to fix something in there.
But about to leave for school in the US in less than 2 months, so much crap to prepare, etc. Might not have time til I get to the states. I do not have any additional insurance. So yeah, will student insurance cover it?

aceman - I think it may be questionable, as you will take out the policy with it as an existing problem. I am not too well versed on the ins-and-outs of insurance in the US, but I would not be surprised if they were difficult about it.

Aceman, I'm almost positive that pre-existing conditions would be covered by your school's health insurance. Pre-existing conditions only tend to come into play when you're purchasing insurance for yourself (outside of a large plan via your employer or school) or, in some cases, when you work for a very small company.
