Strong verbal, weak quant [#permalink] New post 06 Mar 2005, 18:48
Long time lurker. Love the forums and all of the valuable information shared among the users!

After thumbing through all the posted scores in the forums, I have noticed that there are very few test takers with a Verbal score greater then their Quant score. Am I at a significant disadvantage to be stronger in Verbal than Quant?

Also, I am currently taking the Manhattan GMAT online course and finding it to be very valuable. Are there any others in the forum who have taken the course, and if so how helpful did you find the Manhattan GMAT concepts when you sat for the GMAT?

A higher V score is not necessarily a bad thing as long as the Quant score is high. As I recall, a higher V score is not unusual for applicants coming from the humanities/liberal arts.
