Are there any solid audio tools (whether bits or longer pieces) that aid your studying? I'm thinking about making that commute a little more productive.

Hi Vandygrad11, this is a novel idea. I don't have any good resources to recommend, but I'm also curious as to how effective audio-only learning can be without writing anything down or visualizing problems. I can see this getting a little dangerous if people start trying to write things down on paper while driving.

Does anyone have any experience in this endeavour?

Thanks!
-Ron

I believe that this idea can be applied only for SC ( to learn basics ; listen to examples ..) but not for the other areas such as PS,DS, CR or RC ... , which requires you to write down the problem or to visualize it as Ron pointed out.

Try this one if you want to sharpen up your mathematical calculation skills. These are audio MP3s with add/subtract/multiply calculation quizzes with 5 seconds gap to calculate the answer.

PS: Its advisable to do complex math on Paper during the test to avoid careless mistakes, but above skills can certainly help when you are guessing or running short of time.

There are also several audio/mp3 files floating around for building GMAT Vocabulary.

This could be worthwhile for SC and basic math concepts, but I do not recall any GMAT-specific products that cater to this activity. And as VeritasPrepRon mentioned, anything more involved may be too distracting while on the road. A vocabulary list would be helpful if we were talking about the GRE, but a GMAT version of this has limited value. Interesting idea, though.
