the notebook one gets in the GMAT for solving problems, how many pages does it have ? I write big so that i can easily read my own handwriting. So trying to figure out how to save time on getting new ones.

are we allowed to ask for 2 at the very beginning ?

It has 10 pages but the first one is full with instructions. So 9.
I think once you fill it up, you can raise your hand and they'll get you a new one within a couple of minutes.

I don't believe they'll give you two at the start. I think the size of the sheet was a little bigger than normal, but not quite legal sized, so that'll give you a little extra space. One thing to keep in mind is that the proctor won't always really be paying attention, so there is the possibility that you'll have to wait to get a replacement sheet. Maybe try to strategically time the replacement, like raising your hand while working a problem that doesn't require written notes.

It's an ink pen. They normally give you two pens and one notebook.

Each page is a page - sheets are double-paged. You get a total of 9 blank pages per notebook (5 sheets but the first page of the first one contains instructions). They are slightly bigger than the A4 standard and finely gridded. Should be enough per section.

Just for the record... I generally use a lot of space and i used the entire first notebook and 3 pages in the second !

so its not like one has to ask for a notebook 4 times in 75 min...
