I think answer is A.

the last few lines [b]Such experiments cannot,
however, reveal whether the birds were
reexperiencing the past when retrieving the
information. Clayton acknowledged this by
using the term “episodic-likeâ€

my second guess will be B.

A and B both are very close, I thought A is a better choice.

Tulving says that episodic memory is a uniquely human capacity. Clayton conducted experiments on animals.

So I would choose B!
Reason:
As Tulving considers episodic memory a uniquely human capacity, he will agree that animals do hot share.....
Clayton also agrees with B because - "Subsequently, Clayton et al.
developed criteria to test for episodic memory in animals." - this statements means that Clayton, after acknowledging Tuvling's theory wanted to check whether it is the same in animals. So he can compare.

I hope I am right!! :?

I think that B is the best although A is very close.


It is very possible that Tulving does not know anything about the experiment that Clayton conducted. Accordingly, he may not agree with the experiment's result.
