hi everyone... i sat the gmat last friday... 730... i just wanted to thank everybody in this great site, but specially stolyar and akamai for their wonderful contributions and the authors and managers of this forums... the test was really easy after having struggled for one month... the quantitative part was way easier than the problems we solve here... verbal was tougher than expected, but i have to admit that it is not my strongest point... all in all, i finished an hour before time... didnt want not to post this last email... thx, javier

Congrats...how did you prepare..what practice materials did you use.
whats your split score?
Do you know anything about the kaplan quiz banks?

praetorian123, i used a couple of kaplan books (99 edition) and logged in often to internet forums just to get used to the type of questions asked... dont want to recommend this approach, though it worked for me... dont know anything about those banks... i wouldnt freak out about owning a lot of material, but rather about being confident with the things learned...

ps dmitry, i prefer not to think that you mean what i think you mean... they say (oh dear! who are they?) you have to know the rules of style and then know when not to follow them... having said that, it was probably my bad to use a double negative...

i dont remember the exact figures... i know i had a 50 in the quantitative part... and less in the verbal one... percentils were a bit lower than 97 in both parts, that i remember
