Hi All !

Sharing some SCs from a recent mock test (thought that u may or may not get the same q when you take the same mock and that it'd be a good practice for all... ). Please post some explanation with the answers.

IMO E, not sure though.
'Speaking from experience' isn't it a modifier?
in D i am also confused whether 'its my belief' or 'the promise of huge profits' that allured the partners.

I do thing that "Speaking from experience" is modifier that require the direct subject "I" after the comma, close to the related modifier.

Among B,C,E I pick E because it is clear and unambiguos.

Thanks for the answers. It is the same as max. people here chose...
OA:
[Reveal] Spoiler:
E.
Word order in A is awkward.
B changes the meaning. C implies business partners themselves are alluring.
D is wordy and confuses the subject of the preceding dependent clause

E is correct. Speaking of my experience is a dependent clause and modifies "I". Choice E does not change the meaning.

E for me.

'Speaking from experience' modifies 'I' and 'believe' needs 'that'
