Veritas Prep Program in Seattle [#permalink] New post 24 May 2007, 20:35
Does anyone have any experince with the Veritas training courses? I am thinking about taking their July-Aug classes. I was reading MBA Game Plan and that book highly recommends it although they also have a chapter where they interview one of the Veritas founders (I would say thats conflict of interest).

I haven't done any basic math in a while although I have been studying for LII of the CFA (so I can price a swap :) but probably can't solve a mixture problem)

Please let me know your thoughts since I am already in the study mode...I am hoping to get done with the GMAT by the end of the year.

Thanks for your advice.

If you can afford it and feel like you need a program then its a highly regarded one. I have heard that a problem with prep courses can be your classmates. You may be stuck with a bunch of people asking very basic questions that will hold the class as a whole back.

Personally I think the only reason to take a course is to force you to study. With all the study materials and practice tests available a motivated person will do just as well without any classes as they would after taking a course. There are no great secrets to the test they can teach you.
