I have recently re-started with GMAT prep. Started with verbal prep to begin with. I am following MGMAT SC guide at the moment. All well with this guide but I am finding a gap now. Positive of this guide we all know and have read in thousands of posts on this forum, a few in my list IMO:
1) Covers most SC related topics, if not all 2) OG mapping of questions topic by topic 3) At the end of the book, OG questions vs topic matrix
All good, what I do not get is why MGMAT never thought of extending their Official Guide companion to include Verbal questions? why not? I just do not get it. OG verbal explanations do explain the answers but not in a way matching MGMAT topics (most importantly sub topics) and their explanations.
Since I am following MGMAT SC guide page to page, I expect to see OG questions in MGMAT language.
I believe Aristotle prep has done a wonderful job in this regard. I have yet not purchased their OG 1 min explanation guide but I believe I should very soon buy one and instead follow Aristotle prep way of SC preparation.
My priority to begin with is not to answer each OG question in 1 min but instead I want to see how the SC prep material explanation fit on each OG questions.
if anyone out there has bought Aristotle 1 min OG explanations please share your views.
Thanks

MGMAT is a tad bit too detailed than is needed to answer OG questions. They have included all the rules, the important and not so important together. However the key is reading and re-reading the MGMAT SC books and make your own notes. Then solve OG 12 questions, you will begin to see the similarities.
I feel more the detail better it would help prepare. I heard SC in real GMAT these days is much harder than it used to be.
