What are my chances? [#permalink] New post 04 May 2005, 23:06
Hi,
I started my first enterprise, a small computer education center for rural people, when i was 18. (though it flopped!!..i ran it for a year)

I started a Recruitment Process Outsourcing company in Dec 2004(when i was 23), which is doing well and we are constantly growing.

I work for a major US MNC in Avionics and still manage my start up.
I have to work in the MNC because of financial constraints and my commitment to my projects.

I am a born entrepreneur and will always struggle to create some thing new. I have excellent academic records too.

I need to be in one of the top B-schools in US to realize my goals.

So, if I get a 700+ in GMAT. How good is my candidature for MBA 2006?
Please let me know.
Cheers!
Raj

Thanks for the reply! [#permalink] New post 08 May 2005, 22:47
Hi,
I am working for the MNC for the last 2 years(full time).
And, I am now a Team Lead for a team of 4 people, responsible for the team's activities and performance.

I have 2 years of Full Time Work experience. And 1.5 years of part time experience managing my own enterprises.

My non-work activities are nothing but managing my own startup. And, I do a lot of community services for rural people, helping them in training and job search through a free helpdesk(by my startup).

Now, I know how to manage a startup and also have experience in leading a team in a multi billion MNC.

I am planning to give my GMAT by September.
Please give me your suggestions. Should I get some more experience and then try? Is my profile suitable for top b-schools in Entrepreneurship?
Which b-schools should I be applying, other than Babson, Harvard and Stanford?

Thanks and regards,
Raj
