Hi,

I would appreciate if someone can let me know what chance I have.

Target school: HAAS – Round 2
Cohort: Weekend (Part Time)
GMAT Score: 650 (Q43 V36) – Took only once in Jan 06
Nationality: Indian
Work Experience: approx 14 years in IT
Current work description:
Title: Principal consultant

Working with various clients to do gap analysis, design customization and implement ERP (Oracle apps). Have led a few teams, usually my role is a tech lead. Working for a small consulting company (about 30 employees) for the past 6+ years, never been unemployed.

Education: Masters in computer application (India) in 92, Bachelor of Commerce from Madras in 89.

I am pretty confident that I will get a very good recommendation from my supervisors.

From the information provided, it seems possible. The weekend program is easier to get into. A higher GMAT would be helpful.

Thanks truthringer

I know the GMAT score is horrible, but I couldnt help much, I had to work on 3 projects at the same time when I was planning to relax a bit and spend more time on GMAT preperation. Ohh well...

I would appreciate if you can give any specific tips for HAAS, but even otherwise thanks for reviewing my profile and letting me what you think.

I will give it a shot. Also I just ordered your book (MBA Gameplan). I read here that this book is really helpful in the post GMAT pre admission time.

Will keep this forum posted if I am able to get into it.

We have a section of the book dedicated to tips for specific schools -- including Haas. So, take a look at that and then if you have questions afterward, fire away.
