They interview such a massive amount of applicants that they need to turn down a lot throughout the process. It has been suggested to me that a few companies will pretty much interview everybody and then choose.

yeah, i will be with bear-stearns this summer...

no, the offer is in general management, doing corporate strategy. Not sure what I'll do -- I have a couple of second round interviews coming up, so just have to see how the cookie crumbles.
