bad case?

bad everything.

They just grilled me non stop for 2 hours... I got frozen on some math and bombed that. They've already dinged people and passed people on - and they didn't even bother to call me. HAH!

Sorry to hear that Rhyme. That has to be tough - I'm not sure I could perform at a high level when put on the spot like that either. What kind of math did you get frozen on (re: what did they expect you to be able to do on the spot?)?

This one always makes me laugh: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEtIoGQxqQs

he also invites you to Durham for the beach boys marathon he's subjecting me to. I don't know that that would actually help, though.

I wonder if any people (besides myself) get turned off by the over-aggressive interviewing techniques of many firms. What a crock.

sometimes you think you bomb and you don't. Sometimes you think you were doing great (hell, you were asked if you would accept the offer if they made it) and they cut you.

The weird world of interviews.

Maybe they are deliberatly being aggressive to see how the candidates handle pressure?
Some times interviews can be a roleplay straight out of a movie scene.

I`m sure someone with acting and analysis skills would be great at interviews. Situation = xxxx. Character needed = xxxxx . Switch Character!!!!

You can say that again. I remember one interview at school where the interviewer said while wrapping up the interview " See you this evening at dinner" or something to that effect where the dinner was by invitation....and you guessed right, I did not get invited.

Wow rhyme..happy for you. Good luck with Round 2.
