It was exactly 45 mins long
I shared about my professional exp, than they ask follow-up questions on that. I recalled they only asked me about the client portfolio I have worked with (my background is consultant from Deloitte), teamwork made me unforgettable
45 mins went really fast as the 2nd year student also shared about his exp at Scheller as well

My interview for the GT Scheller MBA was conducted by Caroline Player, alongside a current second-year student, which added an engaging dynamic to the conversation. While I hadn’t anticipated a student joining, I had heard about this from a former student at a college event.
The interview was relaxed and conversational. Caroline and the student introduced themselves, and after my brief introduction, they asked follow-up questions about my interests, leading to a great discussion where both seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me beyond my resume.
Here’s a list of the questions they asked:
- Why is now the right time for an MBA? Why an MBA, and why Scheller?
- What sort of consulting companies are you targeting? (in relation to my post-MBA goal of pivoting to consulting)
- Tell me about a time when you had to convince someone; what was your approach?
- Tell me about a time you worked in a team.
- What qualities do you look for while working in a team?
- What qualities do you bring while working in a team?
- Tell me about a time when you were proud of leading a group of people.
- What is your leadership style?
- What is a misperception people have about you? (an unexpected question)
- What steps have you taken in the past (at work or in any organization) to help people around you feel respected and included?
- What contributions will you make to your classroom and to the Scheller community?
- Tell me about your experience interacting with teams or clients across the globe. Were any US-based? Where were they primarily located?
- Are you aware of visa challenges down the line, and who will sponsor your visa later on?
- Do you have any questions for us?
I concluded the interview with my own questions, gaining further insights into Scheller’s community and values.
Overall, the interview felt like a genuine conversation, giving me a chance to showcase my experiences, skills, and values. I appreciated the opportunity to highlight how I plan to contribute to the Scheller community and my readiness for the MBA journey.

I did my interview on Thursday. Format was virtual with an admissions officer and a 2nd year student sort of taking turns asking questions. It was a mix of get to know you type questions and behavioral type questions where they asked some things like: a time when I gave a presentation and how it went; something I'm most proud of; what I've done/I do to support diversity and inclusion within my organization, etc... I felt very comfortable throughout as they did an excellent job of making it feel like a dialogue and not just a sequence of questions I had to answer. I asked the 2nd year student how they decided to attend Scheller when they were applying to schools and they gave a very candid answer that I really appreciated.

1. Started with an intro. They asked to not mention my work experience details as they had already gone through my resume and essays
2. Why Scheller? Why now?
3. You will be added to a team right away. How would you contribute to the group assignments and projects?
4. Talk about a time when you gave a presentation. Provide some context and how it went.
5. Getting visa sponsorship is tough. What would you do to position yourself to secure a sponsorship from your company.
6. How would your colleagues/peers describe you?
7. What do you look for in a teammate?
8. How would you contribute to the class and to the community?
9. Any question you wish you were asked?
10. I was given time to ask questions which they responded to very warmly.

I was interviewed by an adcom member and a second year student. Interview went on for about 40 mins including the three questions I asked. It was conversational although they were peppering me with questions.
1. Started with an intro. They asked to not mention my work experience details as they had already gone through my resume and essays
2. Why Scheller? Why now?
3. You will be added to a team right away. How would you contribute to the group assignments and projects?
4. Talk about a time when you gave a presentation. Provide some context and how it went.
5. Getting visa sponsorship is tough. What would you do to position yourself to secure a sponsorship from your company.
6. How would your colleagues/peers describe you?
7. What do you look for in a teammate?
8. How would you contribute to the class and to the community?
9. Any question you wish you were asked?
10. I was given time to ask questions which they responded to very warmly.

What GMAT score do I need for Scheller?

What is the average GRE score for Scheller?
Scheller average GRE score for the latest incoming class is 322. The dynamics for most schools with GRE admissions is that a great profile with a lower-caliber GRE score seems to be acceptable but a below average profile will usually not be able to get in with above-average GRE score.
