I'm tempted by the Samsung Pixon 12MP, xenon flash and D1 Video @ 30FPS with 28mm wide angle lens is what's interesting me. If it was lower in the MP scale, I would be even more interested, (e.g. 6-8MP would be better for the lens). Biggest downer is that it's using a proprietary Samsung OS.

If you're already with AT&T, have you considered an iPhone? I've used a variety of blackberrys for work and my iPhone 3G beats them all hands down in terms of ease of use and functionality (not to mention the cool factor)

Sprint's simply everything plan is an amazing deal... don't get the curve that's old as hell. i don't believe the 8900 is available on the sprint and the 8300 series is sooo old. If you're going with sprint get the PALM PRE. It's truly amazing.

I just got the iPhone 3GS on Saturday and it is hands down the greatest phone ever invented. It makes my Blackberry look like a Commodore 64. Email, iPod, Apps, Internet Browser - everything is hands down 10x better than on Blackberry. Personally, I'll never go back.

I'm working in consulting and the blackberry is much better for business users.
Plus I still can't stand the touch screen since it slows me down when typing messages.
I have an iPod touch so I get most of my cool apps on it, but blackberry rocks hands down

Still waiting for the Palm Pre! It won't be out until Christmas time in the UK... :(

I can't use my Treo 700p (Verizon) across the pond and the only GSM phone I have is a Blackberry 7100t, which is from like, 2004. I just bought a secondhand Windows Mobile phone on eBay, and I hate the OS -- so that's going back.

Need to find a cheap Symbian or Blackberry smartphone to use in the meantime -- or pick up an unlocked Centro, I guess.

Nokia E71 is quite popular in Europe. Should be reasonably priced now.

still waiting for the Palm Pre to not be on Sprint... either that or I'll get the bootleg/cracked UK version and plug in my AT&T sim card.

I think I'm going to get an iPhone if I get 750 or higher on my GMAT next month. I've never owned a smart phone, but I think this will be better for me than a bb.
