Hi
The subject says what I intend to. I am pretty dissappointed with the GMAT score. I gave the test today and the result is devastating.
AWA - The best part of my entire test. The topics were pretty cool and I did the best I can and it did come out good. After completion, I took the break.
Quant - Started with an easy one and went on with difficult ones and then to easy ones. Two problems stummped me, and believe me, it took me more than 5 minutes and still was not able to figure out. Overall, it went went. I am happy with that.
Verbal Started with an SC and then came the HURRICANE.. RC, CR, RC, CR, RC, CR..with one or 2 SCs in between. There was a time when I had just 30 minutes left for the next 20 questions. I had to race to finish. I presume the last few questions were done in a horrible manner. And that too, an RC at the 33rd question (I still have the dreadfull memory of the Verbal).
Filled up the demographic stuff .. blah, blah ... and then popped the score. I would not believe my eyes, but yeah, the reality was right in front of me.
Quants 48, Verbal 22
Overall, a stinking
580. All i need is something more than 650 to get in to a top school. I have 9 years exrpcn, with working international exrpc .. Singapore, Germany, Arabia, India and China. Am i asking for too much ???.
My preparation was focussed on math. I wanted to ACE maths, well, the score of 48 is ain't bad aye ?. Verbal --- I went through the CR and SC of the
OG. Not much time to go thru all of it (to be honest). Practice scores. 650 Princeton, 650 Kaplan, 670, 670
OG.
Guys, I am depressed (as anybody wud be in my situation). My plan is to take the GMAT again in a months time (end August). As I do not want to loose the Quant tempo. Any suggestions on improving Verbal ?.
Siging off now and taking a week break (Flying to singapore
)
I GUESS THE PICTURE OF THE CAT IN MY PROFILE IS APPROPRIATE lol .. I SHALL CHANGE THAT FIRST.
