A factory has 500 workers, 15 percent of whom are women. If 50 additional workers are to be hired and all of the present workers remain, how many of the additional workers must be women in order to raise the percent of women employees to 20 percent?

Book says (B), i think its (E) .. any suggestions?

getting E as well
15(500) + 10 /550 = 85/550 = 15% but questions asks for 20%

Check the source because I looked up that question on google and found a doc that listed E as the answer as well

20% off 550 = 110

currently there are 15% off 500, which is 75

so 110-75 = 35 . Ans. E

There is no twist to this, must be E.

Edited - after hgp2k found error (blame it on the FAST FINGERS .......)
