The GMAT Club Guide to The-Official Guide-for GMAT Review, 12th Edition

Image

The Official Guide 12th edition is a great resource - it has real GMAT questions, all questions are arranged in order of difficulty, good explanations, etc but it has one major flaw - no way to sample specific questions or ability to target a specific area - for example all CR questions with idioms or all DS questions that deal with geometry. This Guide attempts to correct that flaw (and a little bit more), making OG 12 even better.

Use this guide to:
  • Find details about every question available in the-Official Guide for GMAT Review 12th edition
  • Help find specific practice questions and build your custom practice tests that focus on your weak areas
  • Questions new to the OG 12 and not included in OG 11 are marked with a *
  • Analyze your mistakes in the-Official Guide (Error-log and Analysis tabs)
  • Find additional information such as length of RC passages, new questions, and other
  • You can also combine this file and OG 12 with GMAT ToolKit app for iPhone

I am looking for the similar comparison between OG 10 & OG 11. Like manhattangmat provides information about which questions are new in OG 12 (compared to OG 11). Could any one suggest which questions are different in OG 10 & OG 11?

This way one can skip the repeated questions and can save a lot of time. Please help.

Don't have it for OG 11, only OG 12. If you want, you can start the project to put together all of the details for OG 11 (source of free kudos, which provide free tests) - I had help from hgp2k and dzyubam but it did not take me long at all - probably an hour per section to get everything in.

Your question does not really make sense. Regardless, this is the only spreadsheet that gmatclub members put together - if you would like to expand it, I am sure many will be happy to join your effort

The file has been updated with difficulty levels (simple distribution between Easy, Medium, and Hard)

This is a great spreadsheet! Thanks to the contributors!

One piece of feedback: the verbal questions were left off the "Diagnostic Test" tab.
