hi closdubois You can find more info about IESE selectivity on this link international-schools-rankings-and-comparison-83394.htmlWhile from what i have read in BW IESE selectivity is at 20% of all applicants applied.

Anybody know anything about Assessment Day? I interviewed via video conference (it was painful), and I was waitlisted... invited to assessment day in NYC... I will go, because I'm sure if I don't I wont be accepted.

So here is my IESE interview experience The interview was ok, the quality was comparable to that of a webcam chat so i do not really know why they insisted on video conference through ISDN I was interviewed by an alumni who is now working at IESE's adcom. Standard question on why IESE, Why MBA, Why europe, career goals... career accomplishment and progression, leadership roles lot of question on personal life and how i dealt with changes and how i used networks for personal and professional life. One thing that really made me uncomfortable was the counter questioning the interviewer did.. in some cases trying to refute what i aim for..or how i look at things. raised question on my age to join the MBA..as i am one of the younger candidates. Asked me about how i researched IESE's MBA program. Overall, i would say it was not that intimidating of an interview but there were instances where i really felt to be put on spot by the interviewer... got no feedback from the interviewer... will get to knw what happens in 2-3 weeks. hopefully my experience will help people who are applying/interviewing to IESE...IESE is a good school but i chose ESADE for personal reasons and the experience i have had with them overall... To those waiting to hear to IESE or applying to IESE.. good luck guys!!!.. and hopefully i will see those admitted in Barcelona come august..cheers!

I am 27 male from India. Work ex 5 yrs by Aug2010 as Software Engineer. I am trying to get information about how well IESE MBA is recognized in EU. Could you please share information, which you may have, about job prospects in London post MBA from IESE. You can also PM me if you wish. thanks again - Rohit

thanks again - Rohit hello rohit, IESE is a very well recognised school in the whole of Europe. However, if you plan to work specifically in London, then I would suggest you check out some UK schools as well - you will get much more exposure to the UK job market from LBS, Oxford and Cambridge. You can save a lot of $$ as well on tuition fees, especially at the latter two. However, if you are after a two-year programme, Oxbridge might not be for you. Definitely check out LBS though!!

Hi there, Can anybody advise on whether it is already late applying to IESE for 2010 intake? The next Deadline is Feb 22. It is the 4th round. I am wondering if by this time there are still good chances for addmittance.
Any view on this?
thanks in advance
