Question Stats:

0% (00:00) correct 0% (00:00) wrong based on 0 sessions
In what proportion should a 30%-solution and a 3%-solution be mixed to obtain a 12%-solution?

1:3
1:2
2:3
3:4
4:5

Please can someone help solve this problem. Also if you can share any tips to solve mixture problemns it will help. I seem to get confused or thrown off with the percentages.

(C-B):(A-C) is actually the ratio of A:B that we need to obtain C.

In this case (12-3):(30-12) => 9:18 => 1:2

Thanks for the info. Would you use this relationship to solve most of the mixture problems?
