I have a problem with this question.

If a circle is inscribed in a square, what is the ratio of the diagonal of the square to the radius of the circle?

a) $$\frac{1}{2}$$
b) $$\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}$$
c) $$\sqrt{2}$$
d) 2
e) $$\sqrt{8}$$

The correct answer should be $$2\sqrt{2}$$, but the test lists it as $$\sqrt{8}$$. Answers on the GMAT are supposed to be in the simplest version. You'd never have an answer of 4/8, it would always reduce down to 1/2. Same thing for radicals. If you can break it down more, that's the answer.

$$\sqrt{8}$$ breaks down into $$\sqrt{4}*\sqrt{2} = 2\sqrt{2}$$

I think answer E needs to be rewritten to show the simplest answer.

I see. I'll edit the question. Thank you! +1.

EDIT: Done.
