If you have already decided to go for an MBA after 2 years of gaining some corporate exposure or to apply in fall 2014, then make your mind first which field (specialization) you want to go for MBA.
If you want to go into Marketing then start participating in pre sales activities in your current job. If you want to go into Finance then try to complete courses like Chartered Financial Accountant (CFA) or other courses related to finance. And if you want to go into Consulting then concentrate on your current job.
In MBA you also need to show your extracurricular activities. So it is advisable to start participating in leadership activities in your organization or other social activities.
You can also join some Clubs like Toastmaster International, these are public speaking forums which helps in improving your communication skills & also helps in raising your confidence.
Try to make some contact with the alumni of various B Schools which you are targeting to apply.
