Boost career in strategy consulting and general management in cross-border international company; Bring international awareness and investments to my country of origin Armenia. Thanks for your post. Your verbal score, which is dragging down your overall GMAT, is going to be a concern, and potentially an insurmountable concern, especially at Stanford and Haas. Your grades are competitive and your work experience is strong, showing business aptitude, growth, and increasing responsibility. I strongly encourage you to study as hard as you can to raise that verbal score. A 700+ score will help you enormously both from an admissions perspective and in terms of employment. Some strat consulting firms use the GMAT as a screening tool and they want to see a 7 as the first digit in the overall score. I'm not saying they never make exceptions, but why aim to be that exception. with your current score, you are competitive at UNC and maybe Duke. Haas and Stanford are stretch programs. If you raise your GMAT, to 700+ you really improve your chances. If you would like help with your MBA application, please let me know. Best, Linda
