Hi Kolaveridi3,

You've selected three of the top EMBA programs. You will have to work on setting yourself apart through the essays with how you describe your achievements, goals, and volunteer work. It is important to show that you have assumed significant responsibility, managed teams and made significant impact on your ogranization. You would also need to explain how the EMBA fit in with your career goals. For each of the school you would have to research and show that there is indeed a strong fit and show that you are highly motivated to make the most of the EMBA experience. Think through the special qualities you possess, what makes you an effective executive, what are you passionate about, and weave them together with what you have accomplished, and what you plan to accomplish in the future with the learning from EMBA.

If you have any other questions, I'm happy to have a more in-depth conversation. http://marveladmissions.com/contact-us/

Good luck!

Christine Lin

kolaveridi3,

EMBA programs are not terribly selective (Columbia's admits 73% of applicants, Wharton 45%), and you have a solid profile. You didn't say whether you have direct reports in your 'day' job, but you obviously have a significant responsibility level and I do see the kind of leadership EMBA programs value in your community/extracurricular involvements. Your undergrad GPA won't matter as much as your career responsibility arc. I'd be glad to provide more targeted comments if you send me your resume/CV: paulbodine@yahoo.com.

Your profile is very impressive for EMBA programs . Wharton and Columbia require GMAT score for EMBA , but Stern doesn't need it. I would suggest that you include one 'safety' school to your list of these 3 dream schools.
