taking the mgmat course [#permalink] New post 23 Nov 2011, 14:57
i've been using the OG, mgmat guides, gmatprep/mgmat CAT tests for over a year now, and I've gotten to the point where i regularly see repetitive questions on the exams. however, my performance on the real test is far from what i normally get on the practice tests so i'm debating whether i should enroll for the mgmat course.

i could probably benefit from new time saving strategies or different ways to attack problems, but would it be work paying $1k for a course when i would have some familiarity with the OG/CAT test questions?

Are you keeping an error log? If you've exhausted content w/o seeing real improvement, it's likely you don't know the "why" part of getting problems incorrect.

An error log helps overcome this.

The MGMAT classroom may help you overcome these obstacles, but you are correct, the content you will be exposed to for homework will largely be repeats.

Any idea why you're real test score ended far below your practice? Test day anxiety? Stress? Timing?
