Hey, if it's just one point than maybe you should consider going for re-score. I just got mine 2 point increase in speaking section after just one week.

I would also request a re-score. My guess is that simply based on the request, they will give you the additional one or two points that you need to break the 107 hurdle. I would try this before you pursue taking the test again and have to endure the stress and time that this entails.

However, just do not ask for a re-score. You need to state what sections of your exam you believe that you were not correctly graded and why you believe that this is the case. The more specific you are, the harder it is going to be for them to categorically reject you.

I'm afraid it doesn't work that way :). One doesn't need to argue anything. You simply pay $80 dollars (are refunded if there will be the change in score) and request a rescore for either speaking or writing section or both. ETS stresses that your responses are given to graders and that they assess tbe answers without even having a clue that this is re-score. ETS doesn't give additional points.
