I hv been working as a Customer Support Engineer in a Top notch Computer company for the past 4 yrs.
Jus want to know whether this experience will be valid or not for admission in a good business school.
It isn't the best experience from an admissions perspective unless you were leading team, organizing something, or had budgetary responsbility. The schools want to see applicants who have demonstrated the qualities that business managers and leaders need. Customer Support doesn't usually provide a lot of that. Your options are:
1) Try to move into a role that allows you greater impact or provides opportunity for you to demonstrate managerial ability.
2) Off the job assume responsibility in a community service capacity so that you can reveal the leadership qualities that schools value. Please see "Leadership Through Sailing."
