It isn't the best experience from an admissions perspective unless you were leading team, organizing something, or had budgetary responsbility. The schools want to see applicants who have demonstrated the qualities that business managers and leaders need. Customer Support doesn't usually provide a lot of that. Your options are:

1) Try to move into a role that allows you greater impact or provides opportunity for you to demonstrate managerial ability.
2) Off the job assume responsibility in a community service capacity so that you can reveal the leadership qualities that schools value. Please see "Leadership Through Sailing."

Good luck!

Thanks Linda.

But i forgot to tell that i am an L2 support engineer managing a team of 11 members.
The only thing is that the designation is being called Customer Support Engineer.
My worrk involves managing the team and providing the support to customers of my company using our product.

I want to know whether they will be skeptical about it even if i expalin my job and roles i m performing.

Thanks once again and shed some more light into this.

If you tell them you lead a team of 11 they will put more weight in what you actually do than on your title. The question is how that will compare to others who have led teams handling more difficult tasks.

But that's really the admissions committee's job. Your job is to present your work in the most impressive light emphasing your contribution and impact to the organization where you work, whether you are in a customer service or general management.

Good luck!
