My App status hasn't changed and the letter still shows the Dec 16 date. I had a job-related update to report recently, but it might be too late for AdCom to consider the update. Oh well, we'll see.

Yes, I still have the Dec 16th letter in my status as well. I wonder if they will email us to say we're still on? Did those with dings get an email alerting them of a status change?

Am I the only one that's slightly annoyed by this? If something is due on a day, that means 5pm that day! I don't care if no one actually gets to leave their job by 5, it's just polite. grumble.

i'm pretty sure the wording is exactly the same except for the dates. I took it to mean everyone would be notified today, but I guess that's not the case

Friend of mine who used to work on admissions at kellogg said that if we still have the same status/letter from the 16th, then we are definitely still waitlisted. SIGH

excuse my language but this is bull shit!!! what the hell are these guys doing? they don't have the decency to let us know either way? it's been 6 months and these guys can't make a f-ing decision on our applications? seriously?!?!?!

I HIGHLY doubt all of us are still on the Round 1 waitlist. I am speculating that they have some tough calls to make and need more time to figure out who to admit and who to let go. In my interactions with the adcom over the last 5ish months, I kept hearing 'most movement to happen in March.' Today's activity can hardly constitute 'most movement.' Had we all been kept on the summer waitlist, one would think they would have 'notified' us as is indicated in the FAQ. We will hear more next week. At least, thats what I think.

I see your reasoning, but it's still not an excuse for them not to stick with what they said. Plus it seems like they've already made up their mind on most of the round 2 admits...so what's the deal?!?!
