Anyone know what the waitlist acceptance rate is for Kellogg? I read somewhere it's 1 in 2 for R1 and 1 in 3 R2, which in my opinion, seems suspiciously too high.
I see on the FAQ that they suggest that we don't contact the office until the week of April 4th. However the first decision date is April 19th - are they able to receive and consider any information in that two week (or less) span?
Question to R1 waitlisters - who followed the recommendation and waited 2 weeks before contacting your admissions officer? Any advice? Thanks.
I would at least wait until they are done sending out R2 decisions, because they most likely won't get back to you before then and you don't want your email to get lost. But, I would get in contact soon after that date, b/c I had to call several times just to get the correct person (the receptionist gave me to the 1 year person at first, and it's hard to get them on the phone sometimes).
also just joined the waitlist gang. good luck to all. round 1 waitlisters, you're still waiting to hear??? also i'm guessing we can't go to DAK if we're on waitlist. that sucks.
Hello all! I joined the waitlist club today. A proud member for the last 1.5 hours. At least my heart doesn't jump anymore when my phone rings. Although not ideal, I feel like some weight has been lifted off of me. Will that weight come back? Who knows?
Got R2 waitlist on 3/23. Called admission office for advise, but he friendly reminded me to call back on 4/4. The request date starting from 4/4 is true.
Does anyone know when the last date is to provide further information to adcom for R3 consideration? ( I saw the decision dates are 4/19 and 5/11) ? I'm considering to retake my GMAT...( verbal 68% / quant 93% )
I'm joining the pool of waitlisters in R2. Disappointing but at least there's still a chance. The Wait List page says to not contact until the week of 4/4. Does that mean no emails stating your interest until then as well?

I don't think you need to send an email unless you want to remove yourself from the WL. I suggest sending any email after 4/4.
