What I'm saying is, I think they'll let us R1 waitlisters know by the 28th, the R2 decision date. So potentially another week of waiting rather than a month +. I was actually surprised that they said they'd tell us before the R2 date. They're making decisions anyway, why not do them all at once? Sound logical?

Just to follow through on that thought - If, in practice, we're lumped in with R2, our chances of admittance dwindle and our chances of continuing on the waitlist or denial increase as this week progresses...
