HELP REQUIRED REGARDING MY PROFILE FOR ADMISSION :) [#permalink]

program:harvard 2+2
20yr old,Indian male
currently in final year
will graduate in may-2012

Undergrad in engineering in india
major:electronics and communication
GMAT:720
GPA:
freshman:6.8 out of 10
sophomore:8 out of 10
junior :8 out of 10
ECs:Interns at DRDO(the indian defence org) and another prestigious college

What are my chances of getting into the harvard 2+2 program? Will my low gpa of freshman yr affect my chances?
Also are my internships inadequate or any other experience would have been useful?
Or any other suggestions...

The key to 2+2 admittance is having demonstrated exemplary leadership and also conveying a maturity of vision that just so happens to fit within the parameters of what the adcoms feel they need in the class to make it complete. It's hard to say if you would be a viable candidate without currently sitting on the HBS committee and being able to see the class profile. I do know that you are applying from a very deep pool (Indian Males with technical education), so be prepared to really work hard to differentiate yourself from that crowd. Asking yourself what makes you unique vs. others with a similar cultural and educational background would be a great start.
