Need some help.. [#permalink] New post 15 Aug 2009, 07:34
Hi All.

I have been studying on GMAT for almost one month, and half, my test is on the 7th of September, and I am studying everyday. I have already bought Kaplan's book and Barron's, borrowed Princton's as well in addition to the verbal and quantitative OG.

Despite all this sencere attempt to get high score, I end up by scoring in the range between 520-570 everytime I do Kaplan's test or other tests. I am looking forward to score at least 570 to be able to apply for the Business school I want.

I am losing hope here, especially that I am not native english speaking.

Someone Please advise me what to do especially that less than three weeks is left for my exam,,

Have you identified your weak areas? Is it mainly verbal since you are a non-native English speaker?

It seems so, the verbal section, though I have covered almost all the OG of Critical reasoning and most of the sentence correction exercises, I am still scoring below the average..

honestly..kaplan is not the greatest of the indicator. Take GMAT Prep as soon as you can (you can always repeat it later). This will tell you where you stand. Then break the questions down, focus on your weakness, practice tough question at the same time refresh all the fundamentals. Kaplan is on the harder end of test prep material especially for the short amount of time allocated. Dont get discouraged!
