Hey all,

I have been doing quite well in my prep for the GMAT in the verbal section. I am slowly improving in the quant section which is the weaker section for me. I am reviewing the practice tests I have taken ( Veritas Prep ) and the most common questions I get wrong in the verbal section ( usually get V40) are the SC questions. I am able to eliminate the answer choices but am always left to 2 possible answer choices. Unfortunately, the answer I pick is usually wrong and the other answer choice is usually right. What do you guys do late in your prep to deal with this issue of picking the wrong answer out of 2 possible answer choices after eliminating the others? This is usually a time consuming part for me and I waste a lot of time deciding between the 2. After reading the 2 answer choices I usually think both are correct.

Are you keeping an error log?

This is the best tool to figure out why you gravitate to the incorrect answer more often than not.

Sorta... I do not go over it too well just skim it and make graphs on excel to assess the areas. Most of the q i get wrong are in the emails I receive from GMATClub. The vertias books/tests arent too bad however i got a 520 march 1st. Just started studying again for the retake. Plan on taking the test end of April/Beg of May

I would definitely find one of these error logs gmat-error-log-86232.html

It helps to have it all written out in front of you, you'll be surprised how many times your making the same basic grammar mistakes
