Update on My Progress [#permalink]
02 Jul 2006, 12:33
Hi Guys,
I just wanted to give a quick update. I've been meeting my study goals -- putting in 2 hours a day during the week and four or five a day on the weekends. So far I've done a lot of studying -- taking a PR online course and making notecards. Anyway, I took another PR practice test after two weeks of work and here's my report:
Test on 5/21: 680 (V: 44, M:40)
Test on 6/17: 650 (V: 41, M:40)
Test on 7/2: 690 (V: 44, M: 42)
(All are PR online tests)
So, at least I didn't go down again... This week I am going to do tons of practice questions and see where that gets me....

The main idea of this thread is really good. I appreciate it. This is Raghu, from Hyderabad. I recently started my prepn and plannin to take my exam in august. I started with the OG. Got mostly abover average and avg in all the sections...so confused...where to start studyin..
Did any of u guys, take the OG diagnostic test?? and what were your scores??
waiting for replies guys... well around 650+ for me after bit prep, and around 700 after a lot...
Hey chirag, I didnt understand how u got a score of 650+ in the OG diagnostic test. I cudnt find any score relative to the 800 score.
All I got was the number of questions that were right.
Did I miss anything..

guys,
i am going no where with the scores.. all my scores are ranging from 660 to 700. Just cannot improve the score..
I am wondering if I should give it again.. may be 660(Q:50,V:29) is what I am destined for ..
Even after practicing so much, my english is ranging from 33 to 36, and my math has actually dropped from 50 to 48 now!!!!!!!
arrghhhhh
What should I do?
Should I spend more time on essays now?

Hi All,
I am new to this group. I have decided to go for GMAT. I am a postgraduate in engineering and want to persue MBA. Could anybody suggest me if I should go for Kaplan coaching classes in the beginning before I go for self study. Will it help me in designing the strategy. Any replies will be of great help. Thank you all in advance.

Guys - I am in for the study group. I am planning on taking the test in next 2-3 months. I am in Cincinnati,OH and just started my prep yesterday(09/09) with a goal to take the test no later than 12/09. I am also looking at the UC MBA prep class that is going to start in 2 weeks in cinci. Will keep you posted. So, what is the starting point? I dowloaded the MBA.com's prep tests and did the sample questions to get a feel. Just placed the order on Amazon.com for 'The official guide for GMAT review, 11th edition". My plan at this point is to complete the sample questions in the GMAT Prep by EOW and try to ramp up the time I spend to about 3 hours/day. How about you guys. Good luck everybody and let's GET IT DONE......
