Hello all prospective Broad MBAs,
My name is Ashok Gopal Balakrishnan. I'm a Class of 2015 Full-Time MBA candidate at Broad majoring in Supply Chain Management.
I know that you are going through the crossroads of your life making decisions about where to apply or even whether to apply. I hope I can make your life a tiny bit easier.
Feel free to ask questions about anything that gets into your mind such as app process, interviews, scholarship offers, Majors covered, faculty, courses offered, Michigan, campus etc. etc.
P.S:- Please don't hold back to ask questions just because you think they are stupid. Lot others here may have the same questions.

Hi Ashok
Thanks for taking up this task and coming forward to help us in making a better decision.
I am planning to apply for MBA Fall 2014 and I have a concern. The school is known for SCM and number of Tier-1 companies recruit from the school (as per the placement statistics). I just want to know that how are the actual placement statistics in the current economic slowdown and how comfortable are the people switching from IT to SCM (like me) in competing with the cohort and how are the placements for them.
