Hey people..
I dont know if anyone here can answer this.. but still am too curious not to ask!
The Dec 1 deadline of the Tippie admissions, which they have mentioned as 'Early Decision'.. is it really early decision or just a R1?
Am asking this because its kinda too late for an early decision. Many people would have got admits from various colleges till their Tippie decision is out!

Hi TippieMBA,

I applied to the 'one and done' recruiting event (for India and South-east Asia) yesterday. Has been more than 24 hours but haven't heard back from them yet!
Does that mean I am not eligible/I am rejected for the event?
Earlier, I read on the webpage of Tippie that they will notify very promptly(within a day perhaps, if not submitted on a weekend). For a rejection also, will they notify via mail or no mail means a rejection?

Hi,

I spoke with the admissions committee and I thought I'd clarify that the time mentioned on the website before which the admissions committee will get back to you is actually 48 hours, and not 24 hours. Now, as far as the rejection is concerned, even if rejected, you will receive an e-mail from the admissions committee. I hope you have already received the decision. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

Hey guys,

I hope you are having a good time with the application process. There's one thing I thought I'd let you know. This is with respect to the TOEFL score requirements. There's an update in policy, and it says: "
TOEFL or IELTS scores are required of all non-U.S. applicants EXCEPT those who were educated solely in English for their undergraduate or prior graduate degree. ​" So, if you had your under-grad in English, you don't need your TOEFL scores to apply anymore.

I will be reaching out to the admissions office to know more about the deadlines. I guess as you said, Nov 29 is for only sending the signed form, but I am gonna make sure anyway. Anyone from the admitted applicants has visited the school?

Guys i have 6 years of excellent work ex in operations (IT part) ,very good co curriculars and community involvement.I havealready got an app waiver from tippie already.However my GMAT is 680.Considering that Tippie gives affordable scholarships to people above GMAT 700, is there anyone with gmat around 680-690 who got in with a good scholarship?I very interested to attend tippie if given an opportunity

Seeing that 49% of incoming students for last year's incoming class didn't have to pay a dime for their schooling except for housing. books, etc. and 47% of last year's incoming class only had to pay around $2300 for tuition, I think you have a very good chance of getting a good scholarship. :-D
