Broad (Michigan State): Class of 2016 Calling all applicants

Hello GMATCLUB Members,

We are bringing a webinar with Q&A as well as chats with current students focused on the Waitlisted Applicants.
The first event of this series is Webinar conducted by Admissionado's Founder and HBS Alum Jon Frank. Jon will share his suggestions followed by a Q&A session. This is your opportunity to ask your specific questions. The webinar will take place on 31st January 2014, Friday, 9 AM PST.

We shall also be conducting chat sessions with some Current students from various schools who were successfully admitted from a waitlist so you can learn what to expect from the process, what worked for them, and what it takes. These chats shall take place in our Chat Room. We will release the times & Dates (all will be the first week of February)

Congrats !! i am still waiting...no update still from them

Hey guys! Congrats to the admitted ones and all the best for those interviewed and will be interviewed. I am an Indian Applicant and have my interview scheduled on 7th Feb on skype. I needed to know any specific strategies to prepare for the interview? What all do they ask??

I am not seeing any new interview invites here for Broad.
Are they done with the invites ?
And any clues whether the results strictly on 28th or there is a pre 28th possibility ?

In the 1st round, the results came a few days before the notified date. Also, I remember that my result was uploaded on the portal even before they called me up to tell me the results.

Keep checking the online portal regularly.

Guys, had my interview with Mr Paul North, the admissions Director and as he had said in the beginning to expect a 15-20 minutes interview it was the exact same that panned out. All standard questions asked like Background, why mba, why broad, an accomplishment which you can be proud of, how you manage and motivate team, what I do outside of my work and what are my hobbies etc. and then any questions. Very short and crisp interview.

Hey Everyone, I received an email notification from Paul North yesterday morning. (On campus visit/interview on Jan 27th.) I am happy to say that I was admitted into Broad. Later that day I received a phone call with information about a scholarship offer. I would agree with the previous comments that MSU is very generous about their scholarships. I wish everyone else the best of luck!

I've been working on updating my profile, so feel free to take a look. I'll say that my GMAT was low, but I have had some great work experience.

Congrats buddy. GMAT score is just one part of the application. You've got so many green colors already. May I ask when were you interviewed at Krannert and when did you receive the admit ?

Sure thing, I interviewed (skype) on Jan 30th, and received an email with Admit and Graduate Assistantship offer on Feb 7th.

Wow, Krannert was too quick. You will have tough time choosing your desired college with so many lucrative offers in the bag. Good Luck!

Thanks I appreciate it. It is a great feeling having multiple offers and having to choose which one I want to attend. That being said I hope you and everyone else will have the same fortunate opportunity I am in as well.
