Bonjour NouPas,
Congratulations on scoring a 740!
From our first call, I could see how dedicated and driven you were every step of the way. You showed me that no matter what the external circumstances were- out of town meetings, long work days or other commitments- you were ready to put in the time every single day to get to your target GMAT score. This drive is what powered your improvement to a 97th percentile score!
What really struck out was your diligence.
From your course attempts onwards, it was evident that you spent the time and effort not just to do the entirety of the course, but to learn from every single question you attempted, by spending ample time in review.
This time spent in learning the methods and building the right foundations allowed you to breeze through cementing – both Quant and Verbal, wherein you mastered the application of the methods taught.
We worked together to target specific weaknesses, especially in SC, which allowed you to focus on the application of the meaning-based approach by first digging deep into the question- how do you read a sentence in a test like the GMAT, building the foundations of GMAT SC and scaling up your ability so that you could excel even in the hardest SC questions.
We also worked on strengthening your test readiness, where we focused on building stamina, developing the right test-taking mindset and amping up to mocks.
As your mentor, I not only helped you target weaknesses and create hyperspecific plans to target each one, but I also helped you develop the mindset for success.
The GMAT exam is more than just the content you learn and the questions you attempt – so much of the test itself is about building the right attitude so that you can take a step back, look at your progress and realize-
‘wow, this is me, I have come this far’ and trusting that the work you’ve put in and the data backing that effort will lead to a great GMAT score. It was my utmost pleasure to see that confidence build in you as we worked together. Receiving this email truly made my day
I wish you all the very best for your future and please do keep in touch!
Regards,
Rida
