am applying for R3 in Insead ! I have 11 yrs of work experience 2 yrs in TCS , 4 yrs in bank of Baroda as manager IT , 5 years as Assistant Commissioner of Police in UP . My Gpa is 2.96 ! Will give gmat on 5 dec ! What are my chances if I get 675+ ?after Seeing rejections today , I am in dilemma and lil bit tensed about reasons of rejection! Kindly help

Hi - Are you seeking an MBA program in the future? 2 years WE is on the lower end, so adding another year can be helpful and if you are looking for EU/UK schools 645 is avg GMAT and for top US it is 675. What do you want to do post-masters degree?

CFA certification is important for the admission? Especially who come from medical background wanna pursue MBA?

CFA isn’t required - simply doing well on GMAT/GRE will give proof of academic readiness. Management/Leadership/Team work will be valuable coming from medical background. And appropriate ST/LT Goals. If you were wanting to move to Finance, then CFA could be helpful, but not required.

I would reach out to INSEAD for a profile evaluation - likely GPA won’t be the weak spot, it will be years of work ex/age - what are you wanting to do post-grad? and which is your current role - TCS or Assistant Commissioner?

I have scored 645 (87 percentile) in GMAT FE and my section wise scores looks like -
1. Quant 90, 100 percentile
2. Verbal 79, 49 percentile
3. DI 76, 53 percentile

Will the sectional scores make a negative impact? I'm aiming for ISB/IIMA.

Do you have international work ex? that is a key component of INSEADs requirements... I think INSEAD will be a struggle for many reasons. Unless your start up is already in motion, it will be hard to accomplish the career transition in a 9 month program.
I would consider Rotterdam, IMD, HEC maybe

Hi, im a 27F chef with 2 years of full time work experience from australia, along with 2.5 years of part time/ contract work (pursued along with a masters degree) . i took a gap year in 2025 to rest and recuperate after being diagnosed with a medical condition and having to revaluate career choices. im looking to move to managerial roles in companies which is why im keen on doing an MBA, specialising in data analytics and marketing. Good acads (8.95 GPA for a BA in economics, 88% in 12th, 93.5% in 10th) im originally from india, targeting isb/insead/rotman/nus/nanyang. average gmat score (giving on 2nd december, this is on basis of mocks) is 645. Do i have a chance?
