Hi, im a 27F chef with 2 years of full time work experience from australia, along with 2.5 years of part time/ contract work (pursued along with a masters degree) . i took a gap year in 2025 to rest and recuperate after being diagnosed with a medical condition and having to revaluate career choices. im looking to move to managerial roles in companies which is why im keen on doing an MBA, specialising in data analytics and marketing. Good acads (8.95 GPA for a BA in economics, 88% in 12th, 93.5% in 10th) im originally from india, targeting isb/insead/rotman/nus/nanyang. average gmat score (giving on 2nd december, this is on basis of mocks) is 645. Do i have a chance?
Yes - all academics are strong and prove readiness, make sure you translate your culinary exp to the business world/terms - team/leadership, data, marketing, etc. 645 is within admissible range

shall I share my full profile
I think unusual + over 10 years exp is a little too much on the fringe for them - but like I said - register your interest with profile details and they will give a profile eval.
I’m happy to talk more offline - https://calendly.com/jenifert-aringo/gm ... ume-review

I would consider RSM, IMD, if your start up is in nonprofit sector - Nanyang Fellows would be great fit at NTU, SMU in Singapore as well

If you are open to US - there are programs for mid-career candidates (8+ years of exp) - Foster GEMBA, USC Marshall, Stanford MSx, MIT Sloan Fellows

LBS and HEC rarely go over 10 years exp - but there are exceptions - HEC does profile evals too

LBS has a 1 year Sloan Fellows program as well.
