interviewed yesterday with an admissions officer...45 minutes, very friendly and relaxed enviroment.

conversational...with the regular why iese, why now...past experiences that have shaped me..professional growth...and specific questions regarding my essays...it was clear she studied my application.

There seems to be a striking lack of dings for IESE?!

I am applying for 2013 entry, with IESE a top choice. I am however a bit concerned by the admissions process and therefore quality of the class.

Does anyone have an opinion on this? Absolutely no disrespect to admits, I would be chuffed myself to get it, however based on various forums it seems that IESE seems at odds with other similarly ranked schools

I understand your concern, however i think its regarding to the iese applicants actually participating in blogs and forums... IESE is a small class (one of the smallest) and I dont see their applicnats as the "blog/forum" kind...I guess the ones that actually take the time to follow these blogs are very strong candidates hence the lack of dings... but most applicants don´t even know about these forums.

I got an email from the AdCom last night inviting me for an interview. I'm in India and so she gave me the option of going to Barcelona or interviewing via video-conference. I'd prefer the latter. Would it impact my application either way? Also, she said the AD is not required but 'highly recommended'. So slightly confused :s
