OmniVeritas
Waitlisted as well..
Feel numb.. but cant be nay better.
There's hope perhaps in the coming months
Any idea what to do after we're being WL ?
I reckon that we should submit new GMAT if we retake one, or even notify the Adcom if we get promoted.
Where and on what page we can address that ?
Anyone's kind assistance is most welcome !
Cheers all !
Information for Waitlisted Candidates
Waitlist FAQ’s
What are the next steps in the waitlist process?
First and foremost, be sure to accept our waitlist offer by following the steps outlined in the admissions decision posted on Wolverine Access. Waitlisted applicants may provide one update letting us know of significant changes since your application was submitted (e.g., job change, promotion, award). This update should be submitted online. Aside from a new GMAT, GRE, or TOEFL score, which may be submitted at any time while you are on the waitlist, this will be your only opportunity to submit an update. For Round 2 applicants, we will not accept or consider any updates submitted after April 22 at 5 PM (EST). Updates submitted via email, hard copy or in-person will not be accepted and may negatively impact your candidacy.
What are my chances of being admitted from the waitlist?
The number of students admitted from the waitlist varies from year to year depending on a variety of factors. The number of people on the waitlist itself fluctuates throughout the cycle as individuals' circumstances change.
Is the waitlist ranked?
No, the list is not ranked. If space becomes available in the incoming class, the Admissions Committee will review the applications of waitlisted students in the context of the overall composition of the class.
When will the Admissions Committee make admission decisions from the waitlist?
We will make decisions throughout the admissions cycle. Applicants waitlisted in Rounds 1 & 2 will be reconsidered in subsequent rounds. If there is any change in your status, we will notify you on the next notification date via Wolverine Access (under New & Prospective Student Business) where you accessed your original decision. If there is no change in your status in the subsequent round, we will keep your application under consideration as space becomes available in the class. The majority of decisions on waitlisted applicants will occur in May and June. U.S. applicants will remain in consideration until August 31. International applicants will be considered until July 1, due to visa processing requirements.
Can I meet with someone to discuss my status?
The Admissions Committee is not able to schedule counseling or feedback appointments with applicants on the waitlist.
How does being on the waitlist affect my chances for financial aid (for U.S. citizens & permanent residents)?
Although financial aid consideration begins once an applicant has been admitted from the waitlist, we strongly recommend submitting your FAFSA information as soon as possible. In the event that you are admitted from the waitlist, having your FAFSA completed will expedite the financial aid review process.
