If hedge funds are still moving to cash, that means the equity markets will tank further. To get cash, they must unwind their positions.

A Couple of funds (relatively big ones) collapsed in Brazil last week, they were leveraged Equity funds, one of them lost 80% in just one day :shock:

I know some small hedge funds that escaped the media-radar that is doing pretty well. Mostly because they are market neutral or playing the volatility this year. I think hedge fund industry is still wide-open for an MBA graduate with the right profile (strong quants - preferably have mathematic/engineering background).
