Hi,
I had a query regarding eligibility for 1 year MBA at Kellogg. They require certain courses to be completed before the MBA (as part of your undergraduate degree I guess). In my case, I have already completed a two year PGDM in India in 2009. Do I need to clear these courses separately or Can I just get a waiver on the basis of my first MBA?

You have to clear it with the admission committee. They required that you have took many basic courses to be eligible for the 1 year MBA.
Anyway, is there from the 1YR program already got called for interview? I know many of the 2YR program already did.

I received an update from Kellogg which says that due to the unavailability of interviewer in my area, my interview is waived.
I have a feeling this is bad.. though they mentioned in mail that this wont negatively impact my candidacy.
Anyone from Delhi got the similar update?

Is there any update after this waiver mail? I got a similar mail. I am from Bangladesh.
I've heard that once they read your application (after the waiver), they might call you for skype interview but no news so far.

Hello guyz, can anyone help me out regarding admissions to the kellogg one year mba....I am an engg. grad (4 years from a top Indian Engg. school) and got 6+ years of work exp. in Oil & Gas. I see that kellogg has certain pre - enrollment courses to be completed before application - accounting & any 3 other out of marketing/operations/stats/economics.

Thank you for your note. R3 is tough for scholarships and it is even tough for getting in to begin with. I suggest applying earlier or waiting until R1 of next year. Good luck and reach out with any other questions! Most of my clients who get scholarships apply earlier (either R1 or R2).

Most scholarships are disbursed in earlier rounds. As an international student, you should ideally be applying in R1 or R2 for admission itself. Kellogg states this as well here: https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/pro ... dates.aspx
