Kellogg 1Y applicants (2018-2019 batch)

Hello all you 1Y applicants, I didn't see this and thought of creating one given the differences in applicant pool, class size, admissions requirements, etc.
To begin the conversation, we can, perhaps, post our statuses, which we can keep updating. I am from Delhi, India, and have received a skype interview invite last week and have scheduled it for the first week of December. What about you?
Hi, good to see this thread going up finally. I am from India as well but have been in Dubai for last 6.5 years. Writing my essays currently and will be targeting the next round.
I have applied to the Round-1 application for kellogg 1 year program and I am yet to hear from them. Can anybody let me know how I can get an update on the status of my application?

Generally speaking, Kellogg does try to interview its entire applicant pool- which is no small undertaking! I have heard of some situations in recent years where sometimes the resources to conduct interviews for all of the Indian applicant pool is strained- so it could be that this is slowing things down. Or it could be that at times they will waive the interview which I'm not sure what you should think about that... If I were in your shoes, I would reach out to Kellogg and express strong interest in an interview and see what they say! If you have done this and they said to just wait, then I would do that- you have to walk a fine line of showing interest and yet not being annoying... which is a delicate balance! Best wishes to you! _________________

in the mean time, the best defense is a good offense... I would expand my school list and apply for R2 elsewhere while waiting! Have you considered Rotman?

Anybody know any specific info about scholarships for 1Y applicants? Kellogg's website only says that "there are scholarships available" but nothing else
I understand that they are informed with your offer? (same december the 12th day)
The interview timeline might vary based on where you live...but I'm based in California and applied Round 2 -- just had my interview last week!
Does anyone have any insight on the admissions process? How much weight does the alum interview bear?
Just my 2 cents but personally I feel like Kellogg is looking for a specific “type” of person that matches their brand and that this is their #1 most important evaluation criteria. Therefore they put more emphasis on essays and interviews than other schools.
Not sure that I could put a % on it but it’s enough that you could definitely overcome other more quantitative aspects of your profile with a really great interview.
Hi .. I realized that during GMAT exam registration, i had put my gpa as 3.2 (on what basis even i dont remember). This is mentioned in my Official Score Report which has list of campuses applied as well ..
However, in my application, i have mentioned out of scale of 10 which would be way more than a 3.2 .. Application has transcripts too in detail.
Adcom refer to those GPAs in registration form or do they calculate the conversion basis transcripts ? Do i need to write to Adcom explaining this discrepancy or they would refer to the one mentioned in application ? Please help is anybody knows about this ..
+ Applied to R2, Indian Applicant - No Communication as of now .. Anybody in the same boat ?
