Ahan! Thanks man! What do you think about creating a Haas profile evaluation thread in the forum for consultants to chime in? Did you apply last year as well?

Although she is not the most bashful person, I am obliged to add Prawn and congratulate her for scoring the Dean's fellowship today. Woo - hoo.
For those of you who don't know her, she was WL by Haas in R1, but fought her way through a full ride. This is my way of making sure she sticks around to help everyone this year.

Haha! Thanks Souvik. It has definitely been an insane ride but absolutely worth pushing through. All the best, future Haasies! Try not to focus on the acceptance rate and other statistics. Remember, you need just ONE seat.
Hey Guys! Glad to e-meet you all. First time applicant here as well. Just saw that Haas has released the essays for the next admissions cycle. Interesting first essay. the 6 word story.
I everyone I am applying Round 1 this year. I had already started working on the essays...just brainstorming and stuff using last years' questions hoping they wouldn't change. I really was looking forward to writing the essay about the song that describes you so I am so bummed to see they have changed it...and this six word story is going to be a tough one!
250 words is the additional info. Did you guys check out the sample stories? I found them useful. I do think though that the song essay was somewhat similar to this so I may take some inspiration for last year.

Bummer on the goals essay though

Lol sample stories don't make sense at all. I guess just use song essay and pick the best line of song as your six word story.
