Just got an email saying my application is ready for review. I'm from California, looks like they are starting to open up US apps.

I don't want to mince words, but is this the email from Caroline Bonilla that says "Your file is now complete and ready for review by the admissions committee. You may check your application status online at https://applynow.haas.berkeley.edu/apply/status"

If so, I got that on September 25th and I am also from California. I submitted my application a few days early on September 15th. Is this what everyone is talking about?

Yes, people have been asking if the status of our applications have changed. I submitted my app on the 20th, so I was cutting it really close to the deadline. But I just got the email today.

Interesting. Mine came from a different member of the adcom. I submitted on 9/20 and received the email on 10/4. Also Cali based.

I'm based in Chicago, submitted on 9/20, received that email on 10/5 from Sandra Cruz-Lezama. Not sure if there's a pattern to these...

I'm in Australia, have not received the 'ready for review' email. Not too stressed though as I know Haas can end up being pretty last minute.

There were some seriously stressed people last year!

So you're the other Australian applicant...

Haha seriously though, funny to see another applicant from AU! I haven't received the "ready to review" email either but agree that Haas does things from now all the way to the decision day so no point worrying.

LOL if it helps I'm actually an NZ citizen living in Australia... tho I'm not sure adcom differentiates.

Given the numbers, there should be a whole bunch of us applicants from Australia and a few from NZ too...

I see. Apologies for misreading that. I got my ready for review email on Sept 25 (I submitted my app a few days before the official deadline)

Got an interview invite today at 8:06pm, and I'm in the south. Submitted my application in late August and received a confirmation that my application was ready for review on 27 September. I never got any notification that my app was under review or anything like that, so that may happen without notification via email (I wasn't checking my status regularly). Scheduled my interview on campus for mid-November, and can't wait!
