Good luck with the application. I was lucky enough to get in this year and will start my MBA at LBS this August. Please reach out if you happen to have any questions on the application process or on LBS in general

Hey Matt,

Thanks for checking in and congrats on getting in to LBS. We recently conducted live admit chats for few schools. This is basically one hour informal chat in which admitted folks interact with prospective applicants, answer their questions regarding school and application process, and share their wisdom/advice with new applicants. Let me know if we can conduct any such chat for prospective LBS applicants.

Congrats again and have a great time in LBS.

I just noticed LBS still has MBA2019 Essay questions on the header of their essays.
Are they yet to post 2020 essays?

Essays are a vital part of your application and we recommend that you spend a significant amount of time in their preparation. While waiting for MBA2020 applications to open in early August, you can start preparing your essays. The questions for our MBA programme are:

What are your post-MBA goals and how will your prior experience and the London Business School programme contribute towards these? (500 words)
Is there any other information you believe the Admissions Committee should know about you and your application to London Business School? (Optional) (500 words)

It's time to select a ThreadMaster for LBS forum.

Previous threadmasters (Tmoni26 and niddy ) did a magnificent job in helping fellow LBS applicants. We need someone with such dedication to lead these discussions. Interested members may please PM me.

Hi All,

Seems like the MBA application portal is not working for LBS. Throwing an error stating- Sorry, this service will be back soon.

Anyone else having the same problem?

So, I am filling out the application know and the additional information page is pretty heavy. I am a little confused as to how one should answer this one:

"We encourage applicants to take into consideration the impact of study on family and friends. Who have you discussed your plans with and what was the response? (300 words max)"

Anyone have any idea how to interpret this?

I think the question is primarily aimed at people with spouses and/or family, and wants to determine how prepared someone with significant personal commitments is.

My response was to the effect that I was a single bachelor (aka can get up and go easily) and my family was supportive of me.
