Wow, They have decreased the Booth moments to just 6 this year. I love the moments however. Will be interesting to write the essay.

Also super excited to interact with my fellow Boothies. All the very best everyone.

Hi unbroken

The Booth essays remain largely unchanged from last year. While the pictures have changed, I do not think the strategy will have much of an overhaul for new applicants.

Here are some of the past Booth essays analyses:

How do you plan to approach it? This is what this thread is for!

Take essay analysis with a pinch of salt - its more brainstorming than guidelines. But for what its worth, mbaMission are as good as it gets with school guides:

Booth says it will view the PPT/PDF electronically. Considering that:

1. What aspect ratio are you guys using? 3:4 or 16:9 or something else?
2. How much do you guys think the margins should be?
3. Any special software seems helpful?

From Open MBA chat with Booth Alumna

Question: Any tips to Booth applicants on presentation?

Kate: My first tip is that you don’t have to do a presentation. I’ve worked with plenty of successful applicants who’ve written traditional essays. My second tip is to not worry so much about the photo. Outline the important stories from your past that you think Booth needs to know about you, and then hopefully you can find a photo that fits with it. Also - try to highlight qualities Booth values, like being resourceful, being curious, willing to take risks or put yourself out there, being able to adapt and deal with new situations.

Kate will be available to answer questions of prospective MBA applicants in the chat room for next 1.5 hours. Link to join.. https://gmatclub.com/forum/mchat.php?fl=menu

Looking for some advice, not sure if this is the right place.
While combing through my pics for the ppt, I found some great photos for my fraternity. It was a co-ed honor fraternity aimed at education, but I do realize the recent rumors on fraternity ban in Harvard and the general perceptions on fraternities.
So, what's Booth's general take on this? Is it going help or hurt?

Interesting. I wouldn't know much about this, but if you think the picture adds value I would add it. Plus a co-ed honor frat is so much more valued than a the all-male frats that are frowned upon.
